THE NET HOST 2FACE
Icon 2face Idibia paid a surprise visit to the office of Nigerian Entertainment Today on Thursday June 13, where he was received and hosted by NET founder/Publisher, Ayeni Adekunle, editorial board chairman, Chris Ihidero and comedian, Tee A.
The BET and MTV award-winning singer-songwriter and label owner who was accompanied by his publicist, Bayo Omisore, spent time with the NET editorial board, sitting down for his first major multi-media interview since his celebrated wedding to Annie Macauley on March 23, 2013.
2baba was one of the recipients of the inaugural NET Honours awards at the Nigeria Entertainment Conference (NEC) which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on April 26.
The NET newspaper has a history with 2face as they had hosted an exclusive pre-album listening party on for 2face as part of events commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the newspaper.
An evidently elated 2face said: “The NET is one of my favourite news outlets. They are one of the best when it comes to entertainment news in Nigeria and I’m happy to be associated with them. I also want to use this opportunity to thank them for their support over the years and wish them many more fruitful years in the news business,” the singer who's working on his first post-wedding album said.
